The spiritual implications of the New Sciences.

In Quantum Mechanics the basic idea,, and truth, is that At the smallest level of matter, in the Sub-Atomic realm, particles cease to be particles, and form a wave-function. Another way to describe it could be that it is energy, or even spirit. Matter is not matter then... Eastern Philosophies have known this for thousands of years, Buddhism speaks of all material things to be illusory, in a state of constant flux, This obviously co-incides with Quantum theory, and the rigorous scientific methods used to decypher the the universe, in cosmology there is Some abstract force called "Dark Matter" A purely hypothetical matter that does not interact with the electromagnetic force, but whose presence can be inferred from gravitational effects on visible matter (wikpedia). The science behind cosmology can not work without it.The dark matter component has vastly more mass than the "visible" component of the universe! surely this dark matter could be called many names? the holy spirit, The multiverse, the wheel of Dharma, God. Aha the G-word!!! Well in the "Koegel" interpretation of the universe these names, and many others, are simply describing the same thing. This "thing" is nothing exept the life force itself, so what is REAL? matter is energy, so what are we?

creativity and the quantum field

The simple fact that this material world is not material at all has massive rammifications for everybody as individuals and also for the world at large, Nasa has been studying this quantum field for many years in an effort to tap the massive amount of energy inherant to it, no luck so far (that WE know about) but have they started teaching it in schools? no, and it is scientific fact. This energy field at the core of every thing is literally the place where everything springs from, if we dream of a better future for ourselves this vision is literally created in the quantum field and depending on how much energy we put into it it will either manifest, in our world, either fully, partly or not at all. An artist painting at his or her easel can actually be in direct contact with the quantum field, A timeless state where things around us outside dont seem to matter, from this place the artist creates the vision, this is the same as music, the most non physical of all the arts. When Jimi hendrix was on stage in the middle of a solo, he was in another space, he was literally inside the vibration of the music, he was inside the creation point of everything (the quantum field) and was able to bring that vibration to the physical world thru his amazing gift. I mean he was probably on many differant drugs as well!! but these states dont require you to use drugs to access them, the simple acts of concentration and action, ie-painting a picture (seeing the vision of it in your mind then painting the picture) can lead any of us into them.

Quantum physics

The science of quantum physics has evolved to such a point that it really does have the possibility to explain the universe in such a way that it seems to be pure fantasy to most, but it is not a fantasy, it is based on rigourous testing and re-testing of data. The easiest way to think about quantum physics is that it explains matter, and what it says about matter is that it isnt, thats right, it isnt matter at all, at the basis of everything, what is holding the atom together is energy and to the average person on the street it seems like nothing, its nothing to us because we cant see it or hold it, but what has been discovered is that this emptiness is actually so full of pure energy that it has blown all old physics out of the water, it us pure energy in waves of information, at the smallest level of this universe we find ourselves in, the planck scale, the reality that we experience seems to not exist in the same way, the newtonian physics that we all grew up on does not work at this level, and only in the last 30 or so years has quantum physics evolved to the point where we can understand what goes on in this place. I do not really want to send my children to schools that teach old outdated ideas, I believe that the systems of schooling are so designed for holding people back. Not for true education in life. School aint cool. I have read many books about differant aspects of quantum theory and the physics behind it, i would encourage any readers to investigate the quantum, and tell all of us your thoughts!!
